Description

This amazingly detailed model starts as three 8.3″ x 4.3″ metal sheets and finishes as a 3-D model. Over 15 stories tall, the external tank flanked by two booster rockets, enabled the space shuttle to escape Earth’s gravity and send it into orbit. The two booster rockets would burn 9 tons of fuel per second, at a velocity of 3000 miles per hour. Shuttle nameplates included: Atlantis, Discovery, Endeavor and Enterprise. The sheets contain detailed laser etching for easy removal and when completed measures 3.54″ x 4.13″ x 6.7″ high with moderate difficulty. Complete instructions are included to show you how to pop out the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points with an average assembly time of 45-60 minutes. It has been stored in a smoke and pet free environment. We also offer an optional LED base (white or blue lights) or a Solar Powered Spinner for better display of your model.
