This amazingly detailed model starts as three 8.3″ x 4.3″ metal sheets and finishes as a 3-D model. The International Space Station (ISS) is a low-orbit research laboratory, housing astronauts from many nations since November 2000. The ISS is home to research projects such as the search for dark matter and the effects of microgravity on living organisms. The ISS is approximately 356 feet (109 m) wide (longer than a football field) and orbits the Earth over 15 times per day. The sheets contain detailed laser etching for easy removal and when completed measures 7.75″ L x 5.76″ W x 4.53″ H with challenging difficulty. Complete instructions are included to show you how to pop out the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points with an average assembly time of 60-90 minutes. It has been stored in a smoke and pet free environment. We also offer an optional LED base (white or blue lights) or a Solar Powered Spinner for better display of your model.
