This amazingly detailed model starts as two 4″ square sheet and finishes as a 3-D model. Is the fourth operational and the second-to-last Space Shuttle built. Atlantis lifted off on its maiden voyage on October 3rd 1985 and became the first Space Shuttle to launch an interplanetary probe to Venus in 1989. The sheets contain detailed laser etching for easy removal and when completed measures 4.5″ x 2.8″ x 2.3″ with moderate difficulty and is a 1:355 scale kit. Complete instructions are included to show you how to pop out the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points with an average assembly time of 30-45 minutes. It has been stored in a smoke and pet free environment. We also offer an optional LED base (white or blue lights) or a Solar Powered Spinner for better display of your model.
